Brief Introduction
Nanjing Amity Printing Company is a joint venture between the Amity Foundation and the United Bible Societies. The company was established in 1988 with an ongoing mission and priority to serve the Christian church in China. Besides our domestic production, Amity is a major exporter of quality Bibles and presently exports to satisfied customers in over 140 countries and regions. More than 30 years of hard work have made us thin paper book printing experts and the main production center for Bibles in China.
Based on our high quality printing service and corporate image, our company has built a good reputation at home and abroad. By the end of Nov 2019, more than 200 million Bibles have come off our production lines. This figure includes Bibles destined for mainstream Protestant and Catholic churches and Bibles exported in 190+ different languages such as English, German, Spanish, and French, together with many African languages.
Amity is certified as National Printing Demonstration Enterprise, a Key Enterprise for Culture Export. We take the lead in the printing industry in gaining the certification of High-tech Enterprise and High-tech Product, the FSC Chain of Custody, ISO9001, ISO14001, GB/T28001, China Environment Labeling and AAA Enterprise Credit Evaluation. The company gains the “Benny” Award of the Premier Print Awards, the Green Enterprise, the 3rd and the 4th Session of China Press and Publication Awards, the 4th and the 6th China Print Gold Awards, Printing Industry Best Employer Award.

Printing Professionals
Equipment installed includes 4 British built Timson T32 high-speed web presses, 19 Single and Multi-Color sheet presses made by German KBA, Japanese Komori, Akiyama, and HP Indigo Press. 15 Italian multiplex fully automatic gathering and sewing systems combine with 3 German made olbus/Sigloch hardcover binding lines, 1 German made Horauf automatic round corner flexible case maker and 2 Swiss Muller Martini perfect binding lines, to process a wide range of book blocks using special glues and state of the art modern book materials. This, combined with technically advanced systems which feature innovative checking and handling technology, has greatly enhanced and raised our production and quality. All these factors combine to help provide a seamless path through our modern binding facility and the capability to produce quality products efficiently at an international level.
Amity is capable of both small and large production runs of books requiring special binding technology. With one site cover making facilities and other specialist services such as PU/leather covers, thumb indexing and gilding edges, books of traditional thread bindings, scroll bindings and luxury bindings for special collections or gifts can be made to suit customers’ personal needs.
