The Blindness Prevention and Special Education Program of the Amity Foundation is partly to help blind children's schools and schools for deaf, providing them with equipment for studying and rehabilitation as well as to promote integration program in rural areas by supplying blind children studying materials and other necessities.

The Amity Braille Writing Slate Appraisal and Stationery Evaluation Meeting was held on March 23, 1997 in Nanjing by the Chinese Association of the Blind under the Chinese Handicapped People's Federation. Our products of Braille writing slate of 27-line×30 cell, 6-line×20 cell, 4-line×28 cell have all got through the technique appraisal. Our blind people teaching aid received good comment from experts.

. The series of Braille Writing Slates have been produced in China for the first time, that has changed the situation of importation.
